COMPUTER-BASED TESTING / EXAMINATIONS (CBT / CBE) For many good reasons, Educational/Examination boards and Institutions all over the world are fast adopting the computer-based approach of conducting examinations, tests, and quizzes; commonly referred to as Computer-based Testing or CBT in short. In Nigeria, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has fully adopted this mode for its unified examinations. Other bodies and, especially, higher institutions are following suit. At the upper end, many companies are already adopting the same approach for their job interview/screening exercises. The examination and job candidates should have, at least, some foundation knowledge of how to use such computer applications to be able to participate in these tests and examinations. In order to prepare our students for these, KNPSS shall be having CBT Training Sessions for her students. In addition, a CBT Practice Module has been made available on our students portal to provide hands-on CBT practicals for our students. They can practice even from home (provided they have an internet-enabled computer, tablet or smartphone). Also, we shall be adopting the computer-based examination approach for our school's termly examinations soonest!.
